Die casting is always a popular process to make the metal parts around the whole world. In the period from January to June, the production of Brazil's die casting factory reached 1.25 million tons, making it the highest semester in the country since 2014. (1.368 million tons). Production fell to 1158000 during the same semester of the next year, 2015, before recovering to 2020 in the following year, 2016. The production of the industry rose by + 28.8 percent when compared to 2020, and by + 7.3 percent when compared to the previous year. Although 2020 is an outlier due to the pandemic's initial effect occurring during this time frame, the sector has seen continuous growth since the crisis began in 2016, demonstrating the industry's consistency and upward tendency since 2016.

"In fact, everything starts at the die casting, so it accurately reflects the situation of other sectors that depend on it, such as cars, capital goods, infrastructure, etc. Roberto Jo ã o de Deus, executive director of abifa, commented that if the die casting grows, it is because the industry is booming. In June alone, 219914 tons of castings were produced; + 49.9 percent compared with 2020 and + 17 percent compared with 2019. By the way, the industry recorded its best monthly performance (240000 tons) in June since March 2015. The high demand for Aluminum Die Castings in the domestic market is due to the good performance of its main consumer markets. In 2020, the quantity will be 847500 tons, so the domestic demand will increase by about + 26.0 percent in that year. Compared with 2019, the growth rate in the first half of 2021 is + 9.3 percent (976900 tons), indicating the sustainable growth of the industry and even the country. External market Of the total output of the industry from January to June, 177981 tons were exported. In June alone, it reached 32047 tons; + 5.6 percent compared with may 2021 and + 98.9 percent compared with June 2020. Compared with 1h21 / 20, our shipments have increased by about + 49 percent this year. Compared with 2019, we observed that the export volume of 1h21 decreased by - 3.4 percent (184217 tons). In June alone, the total export volume of Brazilian castings was USD 71.8456 million; 2.0 percent more than may 2021 and 32.3 percent more than June 2020. Compared with 2019, the export of 1h21 industry decreased by - 8.1 percent in value terms. In June 2021, there were 61500 employees in the die casting industry; 1.0 percent more than may 2021 (60882 employees); 18.2 percent more than June 2020 (52010 employees) and 8.5 percent more than June 2019 (56671 employees).
